Honouring the beloved Kyabje Lho Ontul Rinpoche
On November 20, 2022, a great, wondrous being, our beloved Lama Lho Ontul Rinpoche passed away into the clear light of mind for all.
For those with a connection to Ontul Rinpoche, now is an important time to meditate and pray for his swift rebirth. H.H. Chetsang Rinpoche has written a beautiful prayer of rebirth that many of us are reciting. You can hear his son, Lho Ratna Rinpoche chanting this prayer. Also, allow our minds to merge with our Lama’s mind. Let’s all take time to meditate together in his energy of luminous awakeness. Lho Ratna Rinpoche also advised us to especially practice the Seven Line Prayer of Guru Rinpoche and the meditation called A Shower of Blessings
by Ju Mipham Rinpoche.
Many of us are combining a great abundance of these
prayers with the Drikung Yangzab Padmasattva Practice
or with Vajrasattva.
May our esteemed Teacher’s sublime wisdom and compassion continue to manifest in our minds, and may we quickly realize the vast treasury of his Teachings and Transmissions for the benefit of all living beings.
