EXPLORATION OF THE MAHAMUDRA
Laying a foundation to strengthen our Meditation/Dharma practice is very important. It is also important to see, hear and experience the larger view of why we are studying and practicing Dharma/Meditation in the first place. The big picture, or the larger view can be referred to as the Mahamudra, or the Great Seal or Great Movement. This is the “recognition of the Nature of Mind and all experience” (LMW, 2016) There are many paths and meditations that arrive at the experience of the recognition of the Nature of Mind. Having a teacher point out these vast paths is rich, rare and precious indeed, as the obstacles and habit patterns can obscure the view of the Clear Light Nature of Mind.
Join Susan van Asselt in explorations of the Mahamudra as we unpack and explore many of the vast meditation practices that lead to a Mind clear and free of stories, and dwelling only in Awareness. What Bliss!
