Ongoing Classes are led by students of Lama Mark Webber who are authorized to teach throughout BC.
Dates: Scheduled for the 2nd Sunday this fall: September 8th, October 13th, November 10th, and December 8th
Times: 10 a.m to 12:30 p.m
Being mindful and calm are only two of
the factors that give us strength and capacity for the path of liberation and
full wakefulness. Studying, reflecting, contemplating and discussing help us
engage the thinking mind as an ally, bringing sharpness and focus into our
meditations and compassion into our actions.
The 37 factors consist of:
The four states of mindfulness
The four abandonments / the four right
The four bases of power (iddhipada)
The five faculties (indriya)
The five strengths (bala)
The seven limbs of enlightenment
The eight fold path (atthangika magga)
The Tonglen meditation practice will
come from the text by Jamgon Kongtrul - The Great Path of Awakening.
Please note that these classes are a
continuation of study with Lama Mark Webber from June/July 2019.
